From manual coordination to one view of the day
Interior Republic previously relied more heavily on manual delivery coordination — the plan for the day held together by phone calls, messages and the people who happened to know where things stood.
RunboardPRO now gives the team a clearer view of daily deliveries, drivers, supplier pickups and site deliveries from one system. Runs to building sites and collections from suppliers sit on the same board rather than being tracked separately.

RunboardPRO gives us visibility across our deliveries, drivers and suppliers, allowing us to manage our daily runs with confidence. I easily save an hour a day now in phone calls and text messages with our driver and mistakes during deliveries are almost non-existent now.”

One chain of information, from customer to driver
Communication with customers has improved. Customers value the SMS delivery tracking, and fewer of them call to ask where their order is — the update reaches them before the question does.
Sales staff can answer delivery enquiries while away from the office, because the delivery information is the same information the office and the warehouse are working from.
Drivers, warehouse and office teams communicate more effectively. Truck loading is quicker because the delivery information is already available, and drivers no longer need to return to the office as often for instructions, since their jobs are waiting in RunTRAC.
“RunboardPRO has improved communication across our entire delivery operation. Customers love the SMS tracking, our sales team can answer delivery enquiries while on the road, and our drivers, warehouse and office teams are all connected through one system.”

Driver perspective
Interior Republic Australia
A driver who did not want the technology, and now does not want the paperwork
Gustavo Franklin drives for Interior Republic. He is the first to say he is not a technology person — comfortable with the basics on a phone and no further — and he was hesitant about the change. The manual way was the way the runs had always been done, and he would have kept it.
That lasted a couple of weeks. Once RunTRAC was simply part of the working day and he had the feel of it, the hesitation went, and he has no interest in going back. He gets through more, and the details he needs travel with the job rather than being written down or remembered, so there is far less room for something to go wrong.
The change he points to most is the waiting. Delivery information updates live in the app, so he is no longer parked up waiting for someone to come back to him with an answer. That leaves him free to concentrate on the road and on checking the order is right, instead of reviewing and chasing paperwork.
